Traveling and service open our eyes to worlds outside our individual and immediate bubble. It shows us there is more than one way to view/percieve someone or something, more than one way to accomplish something and over seven billion different ways to live a life. Service lets us walk the footsteps of another, interaction allows us to understand the journey of another and mindfulness empowers us to see only the commonality between bare footsteps and those made with an Italian leather sole. These two things allow us to view the world through an alternative lens; this site invites you to see the world through just that - a new lens. Whether the stories you read take you to a sensory-overloaded corner of the Harajuku district in Tokyo, to a secluded hut in the heart of the Amazon Rain Forest or, simply, to a small quiet town where no one comes nor goes, my motive never waivers: I aim to tell the stories of people who cannot.
